We ventured to Dallas to visit uncle Travis, aunt Elyse, and cousins Brynn and Andrew. The trip was off to a rocky start when we were diverted to Houston due to thunderstorms. We spent 2 hrs on the plane in Houston before we were able to take off and another hour on the runway in Dallas waiting for a gate. We finally arrived 5 hrs late. This was not how we had planned to spend our evening. But at least we made it?!?
Lauren loved seeing her cousins. Brynn was an instant friend and was so good with Lolo. Andrew was amazing too, he did such a good job sharing his toys. Lauren, not the best sharer, hopefully learned something.
The kids loved the JFK trolley tour. Brett was thrilled to learn about the history and the kids loved the trolley and the snacks.
The rest of the weekend was spent playing, swimming and eating delicious food. We hit our favorite Torchy’s Taco and tried the 5lb BBQ meat sampler at Pecan lodge. It was amazing and glutinous. We do wish we could get brisket that good in Cali.
Cousins!!

Looks like great fun . . .thanks for the memories!
Love from your “older” cousin in CT. (don’t think you would have to share your tricycle with me !!)
