Lauren had her first doctor’s visit on Thursday. She always get a warm welcome and often slows down the clinic for all the other patients as all of my colleagues  want to see her. Dawn, my Medical Assistant, was able to come out to hold her and get her ready for her appointment. Lauren loves Dawn!  She seems to recognize her voice from in utero.  

Lauren did great at the visit!  She is nearly back up to her birth weight and in the 15th percentile on the growth curve. Her head grew a lot since birth, jumping from the 3rd to the 50th percentile.  That Hesterberg head may be starting to show up! Length stayed the same, but we are pretty sure she was not measured accurately at birth. She is still very long at 72nd percentile.
