I knew my colleagues were planning a baby shower, but they still managed to have plenty of surprises. They threw it nearly two weeks earlier than expected, and they secretly invited Brett to attend.
The shower was beautiful and so much fun. My medical assistant, Dawn, and coworkers, Lucy and Marian, did so much! Another big surprise was that they all went in to get us a really big gift: the Burley bike trailer I’d been hoping for. Brett and I have been discussing how to continue to bike to work after Baby Hesty comes, and this was the key. It was so generous and I can’t wait to use it!
