Lolo Goes to Daycare

Lolo started daycare this week. It was harder than we thought it would be. Poor thing, she cried a lot the first day, and refused to drink her milk.  It is slowly getting better, although she still refuses the milk, but she is eating solids well.

It was important to us to delay starting daycare until the worst of cold and flu season was over. We exceeded our goal (March) and managed to keep her out until May.  This was quite a feat, which involved a Google calendar aptly named “The babysitters club” and a lot of help from our parents. A big “thank you” to Granddad, Grams, Grandpa, and Nona. We truly couldn’t have done it without you.

Let’s hope Lolo acclimates to daycare soon.  It is so hard to worry that she isn’t having a good day while Brett and I are at work and I’m not sure we will be able to take it much longer!

  1. This is hard and it is another milestone in the life of Lolo. You are doing a great job!!
The same God who has been with her at home is at daycare!
    Love, Cousin Ann

  2. I didn’t realize how hard it has been for our little Lauren. I know how hard it is for you and Brett, but also for all her Grandparents too. We will keep all of you in our prayers that she will adjust soon.

    Love you all,
    Nona
