We had a newborn photoshoot less than a week after Bennett was born. Lolo had consistently been a doting big sister to Bennett since she met him, so Brett and I were confident she would enjoy holding him and giving him kisses for the photoshoot.  However, things changed quickly after Bennett peed on Lolo during a diaper change just before they were to begin their photo session.  Lolo had a meltdown which became even worse when we tried to remove her favorite trucks t-shirt and put on the outfit we brought for the session. The screaming and fighting was intense! This little girl, who previously had nothing but love and affection for Bennett, totally turned on him in the photographer’s studio! We bribed her with an Oreo and we’re able to get a few pictures of her and Bennett together. Her behavior continued to be marginal for the remainder of the shoot. The angelic picture of her with Bennett not long after her less-than-angelic behavior is a parenting moment we will never forget!  In the end, we did get a few great shots of the two of them. But we will always smile when we remember the story behind them.
